The piece we listened to in class was called Le Sacre du Printemps, which translates to the Rite of Spring. The Augers of Spring: Dances of Young Girls from The Rite of Spring was conducted by Peirre Boulez in 1993 but was written in 1913 in France by Igor Stravinsky. This piece was about young women forced to dance until their death, as sacrifices.
In this piece, I heard violins, cellos, clarinets, bassoons, flutes, piccolos, violas, trumpets, trombones, french horns, oboes, harps, timpanis, a triangle and other percussion instruments.
Usually, I do not like like operas, and this is no exception. This piece was irritating to put it in nicest terms. The violinists plucking their violins annoyed the crud out of me, and the timpani part sounded like the guy was trying to play a drum set. It went from low in the beginning to very high in the end, like the guy couldn't make up his mind about what he wanted. I fully agree with the critics who hated this piece ninety-four years ago.

the piece of music we heard in class is from the Augers of spring: Dances of the young girls "The Rite of Spring" written by Igor Stravinsky in 1913 in France.
i heard violins, clarinets, bassoons, flutes, cellos, piccolos and violas... and I'm not sure if there was more instruments but thats what i heard.
i like some pieces of opera, but this piece its a bit of a mess. i don't like it very much. i don't like the melody and i don't like the way they do it.. they put the same kind of melody first slow and then fast and low and loud and dense... thats what i mean with a mess.

The Augers of Spring: Dances of Young Girls from The Rite of Spring was written by Igor Stravinsky in 1913. It is a ballet and it was conducted by Pierre Bouiez.
In the piece, there were many instruments. I heard violins, cellos, clarinets, flutes, and drums. The music sounded extremely violent.
I did not like this piece at all, it sounded like a loud mess. It was way too loud and irritating. Too many instruments make it sound too loud. I thought it sounded horrible. I like soft, quiet music better.

The song was made in the 20th century. It is writen by Igor Stravinsky. It is aposta sound like a scary sound in music. The guy made it so it goes like there nothing near you and then something comes out and gets you.

I heard alot of different interrensing sounds. The music was were good and needs more drums in it. SOme parts it went silent then went really loud.

I didnt like it because it was to scary. It need some 50 cent in there to rap. The video was good thow. Other then all that it was pertty good.

While listening to this piece, we realilzed tht it started out very slow and very soft. Then all of a sudden, the clarinet came in and made the entire piece louder and stronger. Then, other deep instruments came into the piece, and then went back to being high. Violins came in, and the sound reminded us of the sound of the women falling and suffering from dancing so long. It sounded like moaning and crying in a certain spot. This piece sounded spooky at some points also. The music sounded like it belonged in a horror movie, and yet, some parts were cheerful and high. It alternated with being happy and sad, and a lot of instruments were involved. Some instruments we heard were violins, flutes, clarinets, harps, triangles, drums, bass, trumpets, and many others.
Compared to other symphonies this one was more exciting. We didn't like it because it was too dramatic and scary. It hurt our ears because at some parts it was really slow and soft than all of a sudden it became fast and loud. We felt that the tune and the tempo changed too often, and that distracted us from concentratung on nthe actual piece of music.

This piece was written by Igor Stravinsky from the lbum Le sacre du printemps, which means The Rite of Spring. This piece was conducted by Pierre Bouiez.
Throuhgout this piece we heard many intruments. I heard clarinets, violins, triangles, chellos, and many other intruments. The music was very exciting and would fade out and then come back to life. At, times, the music would be soft and sweet, but then became loud and violent. The pitch also went from very high to very deep so it varied.
During this piece we found it was very difficult to focus because most of the time it was slow and then because very fast. Everythng keep switching so it was hard to actually enjoy the music. However, some intruments sounded very nice together. Overall, this piece was hard to listen to adn hard to enjoy.

The name of the piece that we lisitned to in class is the Rite of Spring. It was written by Igor Stravinsky and was made to be a ballet. Not a lot of people liked this piece of music in the 20th century.

We heard and saw violins, cellos, bassoons, flutes, clarinets, drums, and a lot more.

We did not like this piece because most of the music that we listen to now is lively and we felt this song is dull and dark. we also think that this piece was too random.

this song is written by ior stravinsky. It was written in the 20th century. nobody liked it. whn it when into the 21st cntury everybody thought it was the best.

I heard obes and violins and french horns. It was a litle scary at the end. it went from a low pitch to a really high pitch and it kind of shot up at the beginning. it also had a lot of parts where their was no music at all

I don't like this song. i got very scared. i thought a monster was going to pop out. i thought it could of been better. now i know why the people in the 20th century did not like it.

This piece was written in the 20th century. It is written by Igor Stravinsky. In this piece, Igor uses music to make you feel scared, like a horror or something.
In the piece, I hear a lot of instraments like the oboe, piccolo, alto flute, violins, bass, trumpets, trombones, french horns, drums, and clarinets.
We do not like this piece that much. When all the music played together, it sounded like a train reck. What we did like about it was that he had a huge variety of instraments.

This piece from the RIte of Spring premiered in Paris in 1913. This piece ws written by Igor StravinskyThis was ballet. A lot of this ballet is about appreciating the earth.

The instruments I heard were, violins, cellos, bassoons, flutes, piccolos, tymphonies, violas, clarinets, and more. A lot of the parts the violin and cello played were harmony for the other woodwind instruments.

My opinion of the song was that it was kind of straange in the fact that so many instruments were playing all at once. At some points the music seemed scary. I would never listen to this again if I could help it.
