sorry accidently i did not finish the critique...any way I heard loud mixed gender vocals in this piece and an ABAB pattern and that was it. Im not sure if the armed man means a man with arms or an armed man as in weaponry.
I hated this piee fiercely because its loud abnoxious and i dont even know what they are saying.

This piece entiled the armed man a.k.a. L’homme arme’ was written in the 15 century by Guillaume Dufay. It is only vocals but it is of men and women. It plays an ABAB patern.

This is a french piece of music sung by men and women. It is an ABAB pattern written by Guillaume Dufay from the 15th century.
What i heard was men and women singing. There was beat and music. They were singing in more of a yelling tone than regular. Also the men had very high voices.
I did not like this music because i didn't hear any instruments at all. I like when there are parts for only the instrumental section. What i did like about it was the lyrics.(Even though i didn't understand them) i liked the fact they were singing about an armed man or somebody thats armed.

L’homme armée was written in the 15th century by Guillaume Dufay. It is written in French and translates to "The Armed Man". What I herd was no instruments, no beat, just acapella singing. It sounded like there were two sections. An A section and then a B section. They occurred in an A, B, A pattern. In my opinion I thought the music was terrible. At some points it sounds like the choir or chorus was shouting the lyrics out. Another thing that I didn't like was that it was in French. I like to understand the music I'm listening to. Overall I didn't enjoy this song and wouldn't listen to it again.

The name of this French piece is L’homme Armee which also means the armed man” and was written by Guillaume Dufay in the 15 century in the time of the renaissance. This song was originally written to take part in the catholic mass.

When you first hear this song there is a couple of immediate observations that you make. First, the song is sung by both male and females and is in French. The song has no musical instruments in it and voices of the you hear are very loud. You can obviously notice that it was created as a church song

Feeling nauseating while listening to this song is an UNDERSTATMENT. I can’t even understand a word they are saying and I don’t particularly like the French language, the song is in a predictable order and the high voices pierce my ears. I will never EVER listen to this disgusting, idiotic (so called music) EVER AGAIN.

This song is named L'homme armé and was a french secular song from the Renaissance. L'homme armé was the most popular tune used for musical settings of the Ordinary Of The Mass. This tune is widely known today because of it being used by many Renaissance composers.
This song is made entirely of vocals no instrumental accompaniment. Lyrics are in French. It is composed of a choir of male and female voices. Everyone is singing simultaneously and the same notes. The piece is acapella. There is an echo and it sounds like the song is being sung in a large church or cathedral.
I don't think I have the right to say whether this song is good or bad. If you like choir music in a clean and clear sound and don't mind lyrics then this piece of music is for you. Back during the Renaissance this may have been a very popular piece because they didn't have instruments as we do today. Personally, this is not music I would buy and listen to repeatedly. I could stand it though if it happened to be playing on the radio. I like songs that have good meaning to their lyrics and have soul put into them being played. Since their not singing in english and they seem to be drones who sing because they have to there was no feeling of soul. I'd rate it a three out of ten.
